YSA Education are currently looking to recruit Graduates to work in Schools as Cover Supervisors. If you are potentially interested in a career in education and/or want to gain experience before teacher training.
Your role will be working in Secondary Schools delivering pre planned lessons to groups of students aged 11-18. All work will be pre planned by the class teacher. As a cover supervisor you will deliver this to the students whilst managing their behaviour and providing feedback to any relevant members of staff. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with some relevant work experience. This experience can come from any position you have held working with children or young people, for example:
- Sports Coach
- Dance Teacher
- Scouts/Guides Leader
- Youth Work
- Volunteering
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Working from 08:30am-3:30pm in a variety of local secondary schools.
