YSA Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Nurse or Teaching Assistant to support the whole nursery class in a school in Leicester. This is a full-time, long-term role to start ASAP which will be until at least the end of this academic year. There is also the opportunity to apply for a permanent role for the right candidate.
As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected:
- Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes
- Regular assessments of pupils
- Able to engage in learning activities
- The ability to work well in a team
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a lovely primary school and the exciting chance to become a permanent member of the school. The Headteacher has asked that all that apply have experience with EYFS curriculum as well as a strong understanding of phonics.
