We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our team. you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of the subject matter, and a passion for teaching.

This role is expected to start asap and would be primarily focussed on Geography and History in KS3.

Duties:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
– Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
– Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational materials and resources
– Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
– Teaching certification or license
– Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Patience and understanding when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
– Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
– Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes
