YSA Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children during their early childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a group of children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Observe and assess children’s development, progress and behaviour
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children’s individual needs
- Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress and incidents
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and external stakeholders
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with child development milestones and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a group of children
- Ability to drive positive behaviour management strategies
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Valid First Aid/ CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
